Canadian made by the H. Krug Furniture Co. in Kitchener, Ontario. Solid oak sturdy construction. The back is spring loaded and can be tightened in various positions or left so that it leans back with pressure. Well worn but artistically rehabilitated with various stain colours it has a lovely character and lots of good life left in it. Probably vintage circa 1940s or 1950s.
